Michelle Zerillo-Sosa

Co-founder / Publisher

Michelle Zerillo-Sosa, the co-founder of Dolce Media Group, has been a dynamic force in the media industry since the ’90s. As the editor-in-chief of DOLCE and City Life magazines, she has consistently had her finger on the pulse of significant issues and influential personalities. Her entrepreneurial spirit and creative vision have been instrumental in shaping the diverse offerings of Dolce Media Group, which includes widely distributed magazines in Canada and the U.S., innovative marketing campaigns, and strategic branding solutions.

In addition to her media ventures, Michelle is a dedicated board member of the Vitanova Foundation. This not-for-profit organization, based in Ontario, Canada, focuses on addiction recovery services, providing essential support to individuals and families at no charge. Her commitment to positive social impact is further exemplified by her role as the founder of Amore Bags. This unique venture started serendipitously when Michelle discovered a vintage doctor’s bag at a garage sale. Today, Amore Bags transforms vintage doctor’s bags from around the globe into artistic fashion statements. With 30% of the proceeds benefiting Doctors Without Borders, Michelle intertwines her creative and entrepreneurial skills with her dedication to global health.

Under her leadership, DOLCE Magazine gained significant recognition, being named one of the Top 50 Best Luxury Media in the World in 2022. Despite her busy professional life, Michelle values personal time, enjoying long bike rides and family walks with her dog, Ginger. As a mother of three, she continues to inspire through her multifaceted career and her unwavering commitment to community and global causes, embodying the spirit of making dreams a reality, much like when she began Dolce Publishing Inc. with her brother Fernando in their parents’ basement.

“It’s so refreshing to meet people who are the protagonists of their own story, and to take their message and spread it across various streams of media.”
