As Toronto continues to establish itself as a world-renowned design destination, Martin Daniel Interiors is proud to be a long-standing member of its diverse and affluent furniture industry. With its roots firmly planted in authentic European design, Martin Daniel Interiors plans to continue its legacy of importing the finest pieces from Europe — primarily Italy and Spain — while staying true to the North American lifestyle and design experience.
It was critical that Martin Daniel Interiors’ online experience be both optimized for desktop as well as for mobile devices. The product offerings needed to be categorized intuitively and logically. Product details had to be shown while the user experience and esthetics remained clean and refined.
A responsive website was developed to ensure that both the mobile and desktop experiences were intuitive. Products were placed into two filtering methods, either by Collection type (Contemporary, Modern or Classic) or by Rooms. This allows users to easily navigate to the type of product they are looking for using whichever method they prefer. Additionally, similar products are promoted to the user as they view single products. Overall, the design esthetic was kept elegant and minimal.
